About the Antistax Leg Health Center

The Antistax Leg health Center is overseen by an international panel of leg health experts who are organized in a steering committee.

The role of the steering committee is to advise on content for the Antistax Leg Health Center, based on their field of expertise and experience of helping people with leg complaints. They will also provide the latest research and thinking on leg health issues.

The Steering Committee comprises:

Dr Eckhard Schaefer: chair of the Antistax steering committee

Dr Schaefer is an expert scientist with more than 22 years experience in healthcare. As medical advisor he is specialised in indication areas related to leg vein disorders (phlebology), blood circulation (angiology) and gynaecology.

Dr Schaefer is the chair of the Antistax Leg Health Center steering committee. His role includes coordinating with the professional committee to review materials and documents published by the Antistax Leg Health Center and the provision of advice for the center on topics relevant to consumers everyday leg health issues.
